The movies in 1925 weren't like today's so I think they were probably utilizing the building pretty well.
Early community planning!
Akin to one-stop shopping!
The first multi-purpose building design?
Sorry I haven't been commenting on favorite blogs lately. Still not feeling 100% since Russia. Getting better though.
One stop shop. The Walmart of its day. :)
wow, oddly enough ... the english needs help. ha. ha!!
we could really take a note from this ... why do we need so many buildings. it makes sense. (:
A long time ago churches were also used as schools and community buildings..but the movie house is sure different!
So, I'm curious....which 'house' is represented by each? Education could be school AND church...salvation...that's obvious of course, Damnation could be all three if you really look at it from all perspectives. Just my opinion.
'one building done it all' funny. :)
HAHAHAHAHA!!!
«Louis» likes it!
Wordless in foggy Frisco
